A privileged location in Provence Gardoise

The Château de Fontarèches is located in the heart of the village of Fontarèches but out of sight. It offers a unique stay experience in a setting of history and nature. In the heart of Provence Gardoise, in the middle of vineyards and olive trees, it is the perfect place to enjoy holidays in complete privacy, organize private and professional events or share privileged moments with family and friends.

A little history The majestic entrance to the Château de Fontarèches

Built on an old Roman villa, the Château de Fontarèches was once the property of the Duchy of Uzès. Completely secret behind its walls, it is by crossing the gate that we discover the Castle.

A long boxwood alley guides the visitor to the majestic medieval wooden door which opens onto the inner courtyard of the castle. Decorated with an old well entirely covered with ivy, it offers a joyful perspective on the facades of the building.

The former guard room, now a dining room, is entirely decorated with spectacular woodwork. With its vaulted roof and equipped with a beautiful table, it is perfect for hosting many guests. It benefits from a view of the park, its French windows opening onto the castle terrace.

For an intimate candlelit dinner, with a crackling fire in the fireplace, the orangery will be the perfect choice. Communicating with the kitchen, the family dining room with its farmhouse table, its collections of copper on the walls, is the ideal place to have a snack or a small snack.
